Silence can also be communication.
I can respect the distance another person chooses without turning that distance into evidence that I am unworthy. I can accept what I cannot control without questioning the truth of my story, the value of my life, or the path I am walking.
Accepting someone else's silence does not require me to return to my own.
It simply means I stop chasing answers, love, or validation that cannot be forced. I allow the silence to belong to the person choosing it—and I continue healing, writing, living, and moving forward in peace.
“Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.”
— Psalm 62:5
